In the Winter of 2014 my wife and I opened our online store formerlyyes.com with the mantra ‘Buy Less, but Better’. Inspired by our time living on a sailboat we learned to live with less and appreciate design for function first. In the Summer of 2015 we designed, built-out, and opened our first brick and mortar location in Downtown Los Angeles across from the Theatre at the Ace Hotel.

Wieden + Kennedy 12 is an experiment in collaboration with a poet, a classical pianist, an actor, a couple art directors, writers, illustrators, and myself. In my time at 12 I wrote tweets for Old Spice, did an endless amount of pushups, wrote hundreds of lines for American Express, saved a local movie theater, raised $1,000,000,000 for cancer research, launched an album, made an app called FRNDSHP, watched what I made, and worked along side some of the brightest in the industry.
In 2004 I learned to crochet hats. In 2007 we turned crocheting hats into a way for someone to pull themselves and their families out of poverty. In 2008 I lived in Gulu, Uganda crocheting along side ten Ugandan women in a small mud hut north of the nile. In 2009 I designed & art directed for Krochet Kids intl. growth from 10 women in a small mud hut, to hundreds of women on multiple continents pulling themselves out of poverty with the simple acts of crocheting & knitting. This is empowerment.
